"Concerns About Negative Feedback"
I had some worries regarding the negative feedback on tradestairs.com, but they clarified that those bad reviews were actually for a different company that supplies stair parts. Since that company isn't a paid member of TrustPilot, they couldn't address the issue.
I ended up ordering some space-saving stairs, and I must say, they were super helpful and provided top-notch advice. I changed my order about four times, and they were totally cool with it. The delivery came way faster than I expected—less than a week! The stairs turned out to be just as I hoped, and the quality is fantastic. I highly recommend this family-run business.

"Staircase Made to Measure"
I ordered a staircase made to my specifications to swap out the ladder on a loft bed on August 3, 2021, and it arrived on December 3, 2021. I must've hit the jackpot with that speedy delivery! The item was just what I was looking for. Really quick service, and I'm thrilled!

"Terrible Shopping Experience"
I had a really awful time with this order. I placed it expecting delivery in 5-10 working days, but after 20 days, I tried to call them. Unfortunately, due to COVID, there was no way to reach anyone. So, I shot them an email. They told me I’d get my order the following week, but that week came and went with no delivery. I emailed again and was assured it would definitely arrive by the end of the next week. When Friday rolled around, only part of my order showed up, and they sent an email saying to expect just that part, with no clue on when the rest would arrive. I waited another week, reached out via email again, and was informed that the rest of my order had been lost by the courier. They couldn’t provide any timeline for delivery. Now, I’ve requested a full refund, but I’m doubtful about when I’ll actually see my money. This whole situation has left me quite unhappy, especially since I’ve ended up with a bad reputation from a customer because of these folks. My advice? Stay far away from them!

"Initially Doubtful About My Order..."
I had my doubts about placing an order after checking out the reviews online. Our delivery took longer than expected, but I gotta say, Sarah's transparency and communication were top-notch. The hold-up wasn’t their fault, and I really valued the honesty. Just hang in there with this small business; they’re doing their utmost. I’d surely recommend them.

"Unbelievable service from this company"
Unbelievable service from this company. Seriously, don’t bother ordering from them. It’s been 5 weeks and I still haven’t received my order, nor have I heard a peep from them. It’s pretty embarrassing for a business that charges £43.96 for delivery and can’t even get a product to you. Total shambles.

"Order placed on December 12th..."
We made an order on December 12, 2019, expecting delivery within 15 days. Almost four weeks have gone by, and we still haven't received any confirmation, despite numerous calls and emails. Sure, it might be because of the holiday season, but communication with customers could definitely be improved!!!

"Disappointing Experience"
Totally let down, they claim a delivery time of 5 to 10 days after placing your order, but what they conveniently leave out is that it can take an additional 5 to 10 days just to 'process' your order after payment. I ended up grabbing what I needed from nearby timber suppliers to finish the job. Working with this group of clueless folks is gonna waste your time and cash in the end.

"Top-notch service from start to finish"
Top-notch service from start to finish. I totally spaced on ordering one of the fittings. They called me up to check if I needed those parts, and they got the extra order sorted out. I got it delivered the very next day to the Highlands!! Highly recommend this place!

"Avoid Tradestairs at All Costs!"
Tradestairs is a company you definitely want to steer clear of! I recently dropped £1300 on some oak stair parts, but guess what? They shorted me on a newel post cap. When I called them up to sort it out, the guy on the line wanted to hit me with an £18.95 postage fee for a cap that only costs £4.67.
I asked if he could just toss it in the mail instead of using a courier, but he flat out refused, saying it would take too long to put it in an envelope. He claimed he’d be 'losing money' and that it 'wasn’t worth it.'
I mean, come on! Tradestairs must be sending and receiving mail all the time, right? Couldn’t he just drop my envelope in the post tray?
Nope, he wouldn’t budge and insisted, 'We don’t POST ANYTHING.'
I reminded him that they managed to send me an invoice when I spent £1300 just the month before! And then, he just HUNG UP on me.
So, if you’re thinking about getting stair parts or a whole staircase online, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Tradestairs. They clearly don’t care about customer service once they’ve got your cash. They’re inflexible, rude, and downright arrogant.
Oh, and here’s a little extra info: Tradestairs seems to have only ONE VAN. If you place a big order, expect to wait THREE OR FOUR WEEKS for delivery because they refuse to use any other transport service. They’ll only deliver when they have enough orders in your area to make it worth their while. And good luck trying to pick a delivery date; they’ll show up when it suits them, or not at all.
Tough luck if you’ve got a carpenter waiting on those parts!
